Just now I had an intriguing meditation experience. David and I have been listening to a cd by
Swami Niranjanananda on Yoga Nidra. Swami Niranjanananda is from the Sri Sivananda lineage.
I find his energy very powerful so I went into a very deep altered state. Unfortunately, the cd started making odd sounds so we had to interrupt our yoga nidra. We left it and continued the meditation
without the cd. Instead, I did the soham breath using my japa mala. Then I went into a very deep meditation:
I found myself in what looked like a school classroom. The students asked the teacher a question.
I can't remember the exact question but it had something to do with how to keep positive
and optimistic in this very negative world.
The teacher (at that point it felt like I was the teacher), declared very loudly:
"WE GATHER THE GLORY!"
She opened the door of the school building and the students followed her outside.
Again she stated with gusto: "WE GATHER THE GLORY, FROM EVERY POINT IN THE UNIVERSE." She
raised her hand pointing to the sky, the sun, trees, plants, etc.
I started coming out of the meditation. What a glorious way to keep our awareness
on the Glory that is God in everything.
