You know how you will do anything for your best friend, BF. You would even give him or her your last dime.
Similarly, my hope for you is to develop that kind of intense love and devotion for God, the Supreme Self, the Universal.
If there is one thing we can do on this Earth plane for the short time we are here, it is to explore our divine relationship with God and our sacred eternal nature.
What are the qualities of a best friend. Think about this carefully. Is there mutual respect?
What about a deep abiding love? Can we trust this person with our lives? Is there a sense of growth and understanding in the relationship?
Swami asks us "Who is your true friend?"
