SAI TEMPLE TEXT - HUMAN LIFE IS SACRED
Dear Sacred Souls
This is an offering to Lord Sai on the occasion of his 95th birthday. We love you Swami, You are eternally with us.
Continuing with sharing the temple text. I actually combined two Temple texts. Please enjoy and share with one and all 🥰
Hi my Sweethearts
It's way past time for a Temple Text:
I hope everyone is staying positive, practicing social distance, washing their hands and keeping their hands away from their faces and protecting their lives.
The human life is very sacred, all the great saints and Swami says it's very difficult to get a human life. So my loves, now that we have a human life, let's take extra care of it so that we can work out whatever lessons we have to work out on earth and balance our past karmas.
then start fresh and clean so that we can make progress towards the goal of realizing our divine nature.
During this season we are celebrating many holidays and festivals that capture the essence of the victory of good over evil. The triumph of light over darkness.
The Hindu tradition of Diwali and Navaratri, the Jewish celebration of Hanukkah, and the Christian holy day of Christmas all embody this essence.
Humankind struggles moment to moment with choices which lead to darkness or light. In each rebirth the more we choose to walk the path of light and love the happier and freer from suffering our lives will be. If we choose to be grateful for what we have and all the support our parents and others have showered on us; if we choose to love instead of hating and holding grudges (you get the point) we will have happier lives now and in the future.
Swami mentions the life of Jesus many times in his discourses:
"There are various theories about the birth date of Jesus based on the "bright star" that appeared at his birth. It is visible once in 800 years, it is said. Some say that He was born on the fifteenth day of September. But He was born at 3:15 a.m. (early morning) on December 28. It was Sunday. The star that appeared that day appears only once in 800 years. Its appearance had nothing to do with the birth of Jesus. There is no rule that, when Divine Energy or Divine Incarnation descends on earth, a star has to appear. That is the opinion of devotees only. But, Jesus was himself a "Star" of infinite value, spreading brilliance of infinite dimension. Why posit another less brilliant glow?" Sai Baba. SSS, Vol. XI. p. 13

Another example of choosing light over darkness, happened with me. One day I was in Walmart, I was preparing to check out with my groceries I went over to the scanner and started scanning my groceries. Suddenly I noticed at the empty scanner next to me where cash comes out, a large amount of money sitting there. Obviously, the person who was there previously had forgotten to take their cash. Quickly without even thinking I called the attendant over and pointed this out. The attendant took the money and said she would hold it in case it got claimed. What would you have done my little loves?
So my little cherubims before you decide to do something or say something or even think something, ask yourself:
"What would Jesus do?"
"What would Sai Baba do?"
"What would Buddha do?"
" What would Moses do?"
" What would Mohammad do?"
Much Love,
Granny
