We are all working hard on our sadhana but sometimes we slip up and allow temptation and desires to cloud our minds and divert our energies. Our beloved Lord Sai loves us so much. He tirelessly waits for
us at the end of the long road, waits for us to return home to His loving, protective embrace and truth.
Last night, I opened the window and breathed in the cool, silent evening air. I looked up at the sleeping, starry skies thinking how some folks may have suffered during the day and experienced all kind of sorrows, I prayed for them and then felt the sweet love of God enveloping my heart. Despite all that we go through there is always that deep, profound love and presence of God. We must always hold onto His love no matter what, for this love is eternal, everlasting and will carry us home.
I went to sleep feeling this divine contact holding me close. In the wee hours of the morning I had this blessed dream:
In the dream there was a steep incline and a car started slipping down the hill. As the car sped down the hill it crashed near a garage that Lord Sathya Sai Baba was sitting in. Swami observed the car closely. I was in the garage with Baba and able to see everything. The car then continued to slip backwards down the hill and hit another point and again rolled. At that point, Swami raised His celestial hand and stopped it from slipping any further, saying: "There that's it."
I was working in the garage clearing up some things, I looked over at Baba and said: "Om Sri Sathya Sai Baba I love you" Swami looked up and directly looking into my eyes said "I love you."
Shortly afterwards, I started waking up singing this song: Om Sri Sathya Sai Baba.
