The above photo shows Bhagavan Baba materializing massive amounts of vibhuti, healing ash from an empty vessel. This vibhuti abishekam was performed over the silver idol of Shirdi, Sathya Sai Baba's previous incarnation.
As I gaze at this wondrous photo it reminds me of the infinite power of God. Our heavenly Father is continuously blessing us. His immense love is a downpour of nectar from heaven. So many times in our desire to maintain health or when we are in need of healing we rely on our own efforts. A vast array of vitamin and mineral tablets rain from our cabinets. We scan and google everything we can in our frantic attempt to preserve our bodies. Swami says there is only one vitamin that is the panacea for all ills and that is Vitamin G: GOD! When we attune ourselves to that unchanging and omnipotent force, surrendering our massive egos at His Lotus feet. Rest assured we will be nourished and protected, Body, Mind and Spirit. The Grace and Love of God is like the photo above - an unceasing cascade of vibhuti engulfing us in its splendor, wonder and bliss.
I would like to share an excerpt from the book, Sai Rapture: The Ecstatic Journey of a Modern Day Gopi:
HEALING HANDS OF THE LORD
From 1984 I had suffered with bouts of hypoglycemia. This is a condition where the blood glucose dips too low and produces an alarming array of unpleasant symptoms. Vertigo, tachycardia, confusion, inner trembling, negative thoughts, anxiety are all associated with this disorder.
In October 1992, Bhagavan Baba visited me in a blessed dream. I was in a room performing a special ritual with great intensity. Suddenly Sai appeared and asked me what I was doing. I told Him it was a ritual to invite and compel God to manifest. “Swami,” I said, “I have a problem when I get very excited I feel sensations in my throat
area. My throat tightens up and I feel very negative.” Swami replied, “Yes, yes, yes I know you are too emotional, making the thyroid out of balance.” He continued, “I will send some prayers to the thyroid and help remedy the problem.” After this amazing episode, the hypoglycemic attacks started to diminish and my ability to process simple carbohydrates improved dramatically.
