CALIFORNIA SAI RUSH
Our trip to California started off with a Cosmic Bang. We arrived at the airport for our early morning flight from Orlando, Florida to Baltimore Maryland and then on to Los Angeles. We found wonderful seating on the airplane. A man boarding the plane spotted a book David was reading on Gandhiji. He asked if he could sit next to us. Of course, we welcomed him. He had a Caribbean accent, we discovered he was from Guyana, his name was Ken. As he sat down next to us, he pointed to my silver Om ring. "What you got on your finger?" I showed him my finger, this precipitated a wonderful conversation, we discussed Gandhiji and a whole host of spiritual subjects. Ken mentioned that recently he was having the feeling that Hinduism was declining, this made him feel very sad. But then look how God put him next to David and me, to show him that Hinduism is alive and well. We assured Ken that Hinduism is the Sanathana Dharma - Eternal Religion. I said, "look David is Jewish and I am Christian and we both Love Hinduism because of its universal and timeless nature. No religion has probed so deeply into the mysteries of life and death.
Ken was very comforted by these words and even invited us to a puja in Clermont where he lives. To top things off Ken was very familiar with our dearest Sai Baba although he was an ardent devotee of Sri Krishna.
